Hunting Reports
CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC
2009 HUNTING SEASON
Here is a raport about our last hunting season in CAR (2009).
Our hunting season ended late April 2009, and this year again we had very good results in
terms of trophies taken, but also if we consider our hunters leaving CAR rich of a true African
experience.
CAR is not only the home of the mythical Lord Derby Eland. Our hunting areas are near the
Bamingui region, and are formed by a series of plains and plateaus covered by a bushy
savannah interspersed with wooded galleries, home to forest animals.
In these superb territories, the hunt is essentially devoted to tracking Giant Elands, Central
African Savannah Buffaloes, Roan Antelopes and several other savannah species. In addition,
forest game such as Bongo, Red River Hog, Yellow Backed Duiker but also Giant Forest
Hog and Sitatunga are found.
We have been hunting in CAR for more than 20 years, and since 10 years we are enjoying a
success rate of 98% on Lord Derby Eland (averaging 48”-50”) and a success rate of 90%
on Bongo (averaging 30”). Needless to say, our exceptional hunting areas offer the trophy
hunter an opportunity to harvest some of the world’s most prized trophy antelopes on one
hunt only and usually from the same camp !

BENIN
2009 HUNTING SEASON
Here is a report about our last hunting season in Benin (2009).
For more than a fourteen years, we have been hunting the Porga area in the north of Benin
on the edge of the Pendjari National Park. We have been organizing big game safaris primary
focused on hunting Lions, Roan Antelopes, West Savannah African Buffaloes, Western
Kobs, Nagor Reedbucks, Western Hartebeests, Harnessed Bushbucks, Sing Sing
Waterbuck… The hunt is physically demanding and requires hunters to be in good physical
condition.
By nurturing this area and exhibiting absolute dedication to protecting the wildlife, we have
provided an incredible habitat allowing the numbers to multiply. Since 4 years now, we are
doing all year round on our own anti-poaching, working with the Wildlife Department of The
Pendjari National Park, and the results of such a program are very impressive. Roan antelopes
are often seen thriving and hundreds of buffalo lurking.
Our hunting team, composed of your professional hunter, trackers and camp staff will ensure
your success in the field but also your comfort in our air-conditioned lodge for a memorable
stay with us.
This is Western Africa at its best and a great place to pick up unique species at an affordable
price and with strong chances to get a Top 10 SCI trophy !
